Cafe Kater in Leipzig

The café is very nice and the cakes are delicious. Unfortunately, the service is super unprofessional and spoiled. We waited forever and then got the wrong one twice. As a restaurant you should be able to organize yourself better. The people are great for that, so I still give it four stars.

Been there twice. Twice the service was not friendly and there weren't even any reasons for it, so I'll just avoid it in the future.

Top Cafe! We were there on a Saturday and had to wait a little longer for breakfast. In return, our palate was pampered. The service was very personable. The coffee is very good, the vegan breakfast, the cereal and the spreads as well as the loving arrangement on the plates was very nice and generally with a lot of love.

Actually a really nice café and when I looked at the plates of my companions, the joy of my breakfast was great. The others had the fitness breakfast, the hangover variation, etc. I had the scrambled eggs with bread. At first I only got the scrambled eggs and when asked I was given an old, dry slice of mixed bread quartered. No decoration, no fruit, nothing. For the similar price, the others ate from lovingly decorated plates with plenty of choice, and I like a poor farmer. For this I paid a good 7 euros (like the others too) and find this to be a really big cheek.

Here for brunch, very tasty, coffee was good! The only drawback, since the coffee was full, the meal (with announcement) lasted well over half an hour.

Tables outside a little loud, the coffee without milk. Ordering and getting a scrambled egg takes 25 minutes, but it is reasonably okay for 6.50 € (that's why it's a 2nd star).

A wonderfully nice café with good coffee and a delicious breakfast. We were looked after wonderfully - gladly again. It makes sense to reserve a table for breakfast on Sunday!

Good moderately priced café with friendly staff and good service (who was very busy though). It's in a nice area of Leipzig and has a lovely atmosphere. Reservation was possible, however they couldn't (or wouldn't) supply me with a menu upfront when I asked. The vegan options were not exciting but okay for the price. Two vegan breakfast options one anti pasti with panini and one more classical with savory spreads and two bread rolls (and I guess another one if you count muesli) as well as one cake. The coffee is roasted on the darker end of the spectrum but also okay. I liked the coffee warschau which is espresso with bitter lemon soda.

Today for the third time in the KK. Arrival from Oldenburg is worthwhile. There is nothing on the menu that is not tasty. Treat yourself.

already passed many times, that is still on the way and finally I was there and ordered a coffee - caffe Warsaw. I like it and the café is cool on the right. You can pay a small amount with cards and staff very friendly and nice. I would like to go back and have a place in the courtyard :))

Delicious cake but a little cosiness is missing to my taste. Nevertheless recommendable.

I am incredibly satisfied and cannot understand the worse ratings. My partner and I did not make reservations and came on a full Sunday. The staff was very friendly and accommodating! The acceptance of our order and the preparation of the dishes did not take long. The vegan options are perfectly adequate, and super tasty. The vegan crumble cake was also very juicy, the iced coffee was excellent. We will definitely be back, it was a lot of fun ??

The Sunday brunch was really well thought out, good variety and quality of products. We would have liked to feel more welcome. Sure, it was busy, but a bit more sparkle in the faces of the staff works miracles!

This place is really nice. I had some brunch menu and a cup of coffee. They were fine but I felt that it is a little bit expensive than the quality. But Cafe Kater is still a very nice place to visit. Seems very popular for young people.

Cute Café with great cake and coffee. Coffee portions are a bit small a d some of the seating is a little uncomfortable, but the homey ambiance was enough to make up for it.

Easter Monday 9.30 ...coffee opens at 10.00 am...everybody is inside. They could have invited us in for a coffee and wait inside for food...decided to let us wait outside. Zero customer service.

Despite the good breakfast you can unfortunately only give two stars. The owners or waiters were on a Saturday morning completely overwhelmed with the guest urge. This can happen, but you should warn the guest then, that it can take a long time, until the breakfast comes and not let him wait an hour for breakfast. The courtyard could be a bit more comfortable.

Cozy place with very good coffee (tried filter coffee and americano), nice staff and good food. I tried the vegan breakfast and it was made with love, very creative, tasty and quite cheap for what I've had on my plate.

Great coffee, cool ambiente and quality newspapers (taz!) to enjoy. What do you need more to sit back and relax on a weekend morning. They also had a croissant available for people who didn't want to go with the 'breakfast buffet' option. Would definitely go back if I'm in the area again. (can get busy at peak times/the weekend...)
